This journey would not of been made possible without your belief, encouragement, sacrifice of time, energy and guidance. You have each been a pillar that supported, strengthen and at times, became my determination. The times I lost focus and strength, my determination to succeed were to show appreciation for each of your loving time, belief and trust in the fact that I can meet my responsibilities to my self, family and community!
Thank you, without you in my life, I would not be who I am today.
This journey was less scary because you were at my side my dear friend!
Every story has many beginning and one of mine was becoming the recipient of the Racial Equality Grant For Individual Artist 2022, along side these amazing, talented and powerful artist!

I once heard that a person’s heart is measured by the kindness offered to those who cannot pay it back. Therefore I want to Thank You for your support, and opening your hearts to help put a book in the hands of those little ones who are in need of our kindness!

It is an honor to partner with you and your organization for the healing of our and neighboring communities. My desire was to share the simple words from my heart to focus on the hope and trust that we have can work hard to change our future!
Reaching a child’s emotions and heart can often be difficult. “I’ will always be right here” can help you do just that. The words and captivating illustrations tell a story that children can relate to and treasure. This little book can bring joy in difficult times when a father figure is away due employment, deployment, separation due to a divorce, illness, death and other circumstances or situations. With colorful illustrations and simple phrases, the child can understand that the missing father, grandfather, or father figure is not permanently lost, but has given them many enduring memories that are real and will always be a treasure to them. These positive thoughts and dreams are essential for coping and healing. “I’ will always be right here” is a heart-touching little book to help the inner child of all ages find a positive outlook and lasting hope.

The messages in this book is to reassure that the child is never truly separated from the wonderful memories they made together to help him or her endure some of life's challenges.
“According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 18.4 million children, 1 in 4, live without a biological, step, or adoptive father in the home.” (The National Fatherhood Initiative).
This book is offered in English and in Spanish and is in the process of being translated into American Sign Language and Braille. My goal is to allow everyone, despite their language, to not be forgotten.

As a child affected by this sobering statistic, I desire repay the kindness, investment, guidance, support, and encouragement from some in my community, that focused on what I could become. May we each honor them by supporting others in our communities!
